Position Summary
• Responsible for collecting and processing patient specimens for the diagnosis and treatment of disease under the supervision of a Medical Technician, Medical Technologist, Section Supervisor, Clinical Laboratory Manager, or Medical Director.

Licenses and Certification
• N/A


Experience and Skills
• Technical Experience: 6 months specialized training preferred.

Role Specific Responsibilities

  • Perform basic venipunctures and capillary collections.
  • Register patients and specimens in the laboratory system.
  • Label specimens according to policy.
  • Transport specimens to the lab.
  • Maintain supplies and cleanliness of phlebotomy stations.
  • Assist with outpatient and inpatient phlebotomy needs.

Compensation (Commensurate with experience):

$16.89 - $25.34
