Position Summary
• Responsible for preparing the operating room and patient for the procedure, under the direction/supervision of OR personnel
Education
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Must be currently enrolled in the Surgical Technologist Program
Licenses and Certification
• BLS Required
Experience and Skills
• Technical Experience: Must have completed first clinical rotation.
Role Specific Responsibilities
• Assist Surgeon.
• Prepares patient and room for the planned surgical procedures.
• Performs under the direction/supervision of OR personnel (RN’s and/or OR Technicians)
Compensation (Commensurate with experience):

- The Operating Room Technician/Student is responsible for preparing the operating room and the patient for surgical procedures under the supervision of OR personnel. This includes assisting the surgeon and ensuring the room is ready for the planned procedures.
