Overview

The Draft Technician delivers kegs to retail customers and services the keg system equipment professionally and courteously. Also, this role ensures the placement of point-of-sale ( POS ) materials during account visits.

Primary Responsibilities

• Deliver kegs; place the merchandise in customer-desired locations
• Service keg systems; install and clean lines
• Train customers on keg installation procedures
• Identify sales opportunities; provide referrals to the sales team
• Monitor all-malt code dates to ensure freshness
• Set-up POS materials (e.g., coasters, banners, table tents, etc.) during account visits
• Deliver hot shot items to on-premise accounts as needed
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Additional Primary Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency
• Must possess a reliable vehicle, a valid drivers license, and the ability to obtain and maintain auto liability insurance by State laws
• Must be at least 21 years of age

Physical Demands

• Physical demands with activity or condition for a considerable amount of time may include sitting and typing/keyboarding using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor) or mobile device
• Physical demands with activity or condition may include walking, bending, reaching, standing, squatting, and stooping
• Physical demands with activity or condition for a considerable amount of time may include driving throughout the day with segments up to 2 hours
• May require lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 48lbs
