We are searching for a talented RN for the In-Patient Oncology/Palliative unit

 

UP TO $12,000 NEW HIRE SIGN ON BONUS!

 

Hours: 36hrs 

Shift: Evening/Night shift, 7:15pm - 7:15am with weekend and holiday rotation  

Location: Charlton Memorial Hospital - Fall River, MA

 

Atwood 5 specializes in the care of Oncology and Palliative Care patients. Oncology Care is provided in collaboration with the Center for Cancer Care for patients requiring chemotherapy or radiation therapy. Chemotherapy is administered by specially trained certified nurses. The focus of Palliative Care is on achieving comfort, improving quality of life, and providing support for patients and their caregivers. This department provides a wonderful foundation for solidifying your RN skills that lead to many career opportunities at Southcoast!

  • $12,000 New Hire Sign On with 3+ years of experience
  • $10,000 New Hire Sign On with 1-3 years of experience
  • $7,500 New Hire Sign On with less than 1 year of experience
  • Rehires termed greater than 1 year are eligible

Responsibilities

Under direction of the Manager, Patient Services or designee of individual assigned unit, perform a variety of duties involving coordinating total nursing care for patients, participating in patient and family teaching and providing leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice within an assigned patient care unit. Has knowledge and skills necessary to provide care, which is appropriate to the age group of patients regularly served.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent is required.
  • Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required.
  • Three (3) months experience is preferred.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired

 

 

Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience. 

Pay Range

USD $42.37 - USD $77.81 /Hr.
