We are searching for a talented Housekeeper I
$1,000 new hire sign-on bonus for this position. (rehires termed more than 1 year also eligible)
Hours: 40hrs
Shift: Evening shift with every other weekend and holiday rotation; 3:00pm - 11:30pm
Location: Tobey Hospital – Wareham, MA

**Available to regular status employees who are scheduled to work a minimum of 24 hours.

Responsibilities
Under the general supervision and direction of the Manager, Facilities or designee, meet set standards while performing functions of the department. Clean and disinfect floors and bathroom fixtures. Clean discharge beds. Keep equipment and janitors closets clean.Qualifications
- Previous experience in institutional housekeeping preferred.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to understand written and verbal communication and instructions.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Must be able to lift object over 25 pounds and bend repeatedly.
Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.
Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.

What you'll do
- The Housekeeper I is responsible for cleaning and disinfecting floors, bathroom fixtures, and discharge beds. They must also maintain cleanliness of equipment and janitor closets under the supervision of the Manager, Facilities.
