SUMMARY/OBJECTIVES
Responsibilities for review and underwriting of all types of consumer loan products in accordance with established bank guidelines, State/Federal regulations, and Fair Lending practices. Communicates with the originating Loan Officer to request additional information, final loan decisions, and recommends alternative loan structures and/or products. Provides lender support to include interpretation of bank loan policies and procedures.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Underwrite consumer loans in accordance with established bank policies and product guidelines.
Evaluate credit related information including credit histories, qualifying income, repayment capacity, and collateral valuations.
Performs analysis to determine borrowers qualifying income to include tax returns, paystubs, W2’s, 1099’s, verification of employment, retirement benefits, and all other forms of income sources.
· Prepares cash flow analysis.
· Review of all supporting documents related to the credit decision.
· Achieves production, turnaround time, credit quality and support/service, based on established
goals.
· Communicates final loan decisions and delivers any negative responses in a positive,
professional manner.
· Provides lender support in the areas of loan product, policy, procedure, loan structure and
pricing.
· Renders decisions on miscellaneous credit requests to include modifications, renewals, and
subordinations.
OTHER DUTIES
· Performs other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
· Education: Bachelor’s in business administration, Finance, Accounting, related field preferred,
or 3 years in related position
· Experience: Minimum of 3 years consumer real estate and non-real estate secured loan
experience required. Centralized Underwriting experience preferred.
· Knowledge: Excellent interpersonal skills, general computer skills, ability to read, write, speak,
and understand English
TRAINING REQUIREMENTS/CLASSES
New Employee Training Required annual compliance training.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Must be able to effectively access and interpret information on computer screens, documents, and reports.
