Newburyport, MA (USA) Sonic Healthcare USA is seeking a full time AP/CP Board certified or board eligible Pathologist to join a two-person practice providing full coverage to Anna Jaques, a small community hospital in Newburyport, Massachusetts. Newburyport is a historic coastal town 35 miles northeast of Boston and known for its picturesque waterfront, beautiful 4 seasons and numerous recreational opportunities.

Experienced pathologists and those new in practice are encouraged to apply. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • The ideal candidate would serve as the Medical director to oversee, provide leadership and guidance for the lab initiatives and sign out anatomic surgical cases with general clinical pathology.
  • Candidates should also have the ability to work independently, have good communication skills, and the ability interact effectively with clinical and laboratory staff. 
  •  (Optional: The position includes approximately 50% Administrative and 50% Anatomic/Clinical sign out responsibilities).
