LOCATION: 66-90 Fresh Pond Rd, Ridgewood, NY 11385
HOURS: 7:30am - 4:00pm; Monday to Friday and two Saturdays a month
FULL TIME: Benefits Eligible
HOURLY RATE: $17.00-$21.00/hr
In this role you will:
Obtain blood specimens and collect non-blood specimens such as urine, sputum, and throat swabs for laboratory testing.
Check the test requisition or computer label to assure correctness and completeness prior to collecting sample
Follow all safety, infection control, and OSHA Bloodborne Pathogen guidelines
Process specimens to prepare them for laboratory testing
Ensure the Patient Service Center is clean, tidy and presentable
All you need is:
High School Diploma or GED
Phlebotomy certification
At least 6 months experience, required
