Job Description

The vehicle salesperson is responsible for selling vehicles and meeting dealership gross profit, volume and customer satisfaction standards. This position includes four broad areas of activity: personal work habits, prospecting, selling, and follow-up.

  • OTE (On-Target-Earnings): $80,000 - $120,000+ / year
    • If meeting and exceeding sales goals and quotas

The Salesperson Position has a pay scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include a Base Monthly Draw of three-thousand dollars a month. The position may also pay commission compensation which is based on the value or number of closed sales achieved from $0.00 (if no sales are made) without any upper limit other than sales performance. The position also has a pay-by-production bonus based on individual or team performance that may range from $0.00 (if baseline benchmarks are not met) without any fixed upper limit

Schedule:

  • FULL TIME
  • 5 days a week / 2 days off
  • Sundays off
  • Weekend availability required
  • Sales Floor Hours:
    • Monday - Friday: 9 am to 8 pm
    • Saturday: 9 am to 8 pm

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a quota-driven sales role.
  • Must be open to working weekends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Enthusiasm for automobiles and a genuine interest in helping customers.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA.
  • All applicants must demonstrate the ability to pass pre-employment testing, including background checks, MVR, drug test, and valid driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
