Founding Product Designer

SONATA provides preventive healthcare built around your complete health picture. We do comprehensive diagnostics—genomics, epigenetics, blood biomarkers, and more. Ranges tuned to your DNA, not population averages. Our care team combines AI, coaches, and doctors. We're looking for a Founding Product Designer to design how people interact with their health data and care. You'll create interfaces that make complex information understandable and useful. What you'll do: Design consumer health dashboards and AI chat experiences Turn complex health data into clear UI/UX people can actually use Work directly with founders (ex-Linear & Ramp) and engineers to build and ship features Work with our world class brand/creative team to build our design system and hire our design team You should have: 5+ years designing digital products in health, fintech, or similar domains A portfolio showing strong interaction and visual design work Experience designing data-heavy interfaces—dashboards, analytics, AI tools Comfort working directly with engineers and founders Experience with Figma, Framer, and similar tools We're backed by Sunflower Capital (first check at Cohere, Retool & Vercel) and BoxGroup (early investor at Ramp, Oscar Health, and Ro). As a founding team member, you'll own our design strategy and have significant equity in the company. You'll help prove that health interfaces can be both functional and intuitive. We're looking for people who believe healthcare can work differently—that it should anticipate instead of react, understand you as an individual instead of a population average, and feel like part of daily life instead of something you only encounter in crisis.
