The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
Solventum Dental Solutions China marketing team is recruiting for a regional marketing leader role in China. This role will play a pivotal role to support China Dental Solutions marketing leader to implement marketing and portfolio strategy in key execution regions and business models. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Lead a team of five marketers which consists of three regional marketers and two e-commerce marketers
- Responsible for all regional market insight gathering and regional market trending by monitoring market and competitive intelligence, owning local voice of customer, business pain points and how Solventum portfolio of products solve customers’ needs
- Consolidate and integrate all regional marketing strategies and aligned e-commerce marketing strategy with strategic prioritization, and go-to-market programs
- Manages national marketing event calendar for promotional activity planning, marketing event execution, e-commerce marketing initiatives
- Demand generation at the local layer by communicating China marketing strategy to channel partners and customers and managing key product launches locally
- Marketing updates: monthly business tracking mechanism and report back to China marketing leader
- Interact with all sales, channel and marketing leadership team to drive strategy implementation in the market
- Collaborate with regional sales manager to set business objectives, handshake on portfolio strategy aligned to broader China business and portfolio priorities, ensuring China marketing strategy, brand strategy and marketing communication is managed through marketing, sales to end users and to channel partners for consistency
- Defines regional promotional plans to ensure regional go-to-market actions and programs are taken that both immediately support growth of the portfolio as well as complement the direction of the rebranding strategy and activities
- Collaborates with China brand marketer, local product marketers and regional sales teams on implementation of various actions required to facilitate business growth based on macro policy trends impacting clinical customers
- Coordinates with R&P sell-out sales, Lava sales and channel sales teams to facilitate the operationalization of national marketing strategy by leading regional event planning & execution, and supporting key account customer engagement
- Defines regional channel marketing plans and co-manage priority channel partners with channel team
The Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- 10+ years in local marketing disciplines with good understanding of customer value chain, product pricing management, portfolio, end-user, channel, communication, marketing tools in China
- People management experience of more than 3 years
- Strong communication and negotiating skills, and ability to develop relationships and appropriately influence internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellence in strategic thinking, problem-solving, analytical ability, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong capability to identify commercial GTM barriers and resolutions through understanding of insight, trends and policy movements
- Demonstrated ability to inspire and engage the team members.
- Fluent English and Microsoft office skills.
