The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
 

Solventum Dental Solutions China marketing team is recruiting for a product portfolio marketer role in China, managing the prevention portfolio. This role will play a pivotal role to support China Dental Solutions marketing leader, leading the product portfolio strategy and execution to trigger future growth. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Responsible for market insight gathering and local product portfolio strategy setting through monitoring market and competitive intelligence, owning the local voice of customer, business pain points and how Solventum solutions solve customers’ needs
• Consistently thrive for opportunities to prioritize the portfolio marketing strategy, portfolio growth plan and go-to-market programs by developing promotional initiatives and execution plans
• Drives new product launches & execute portfolio exit decisions in the country including product phase in, phase out
• Owns demand planning & pricing management
• Manages system data for the portfolio (i.e. SAP)
• Provides country input into the development of the global and APAC portfolio strategy and drive implementation of the portfolio initiatives locally in China
• Collaborate with country marketing leader and commercial leader to set business objectives, handshake on portfolio strategy aligned to broader China business strategy and priorities, ensuring an aligned marketing, brand strategy and marketing communication is managed through marketing, sales to end users and to channel partners for consistency
• Collaborate with IBP demand leader on implementation of various actions required to plan well for business growth based on macro policy trends
• Close partner with the China brand marketer to be the brand ambassador for the portfolio and whole China business
• Collaborate with sales managers to define promotional plans and go-to-market actions and programs to immediately support growth of the portfolio as well as complement the direction of the rebranding strategy and activities
• Marketing updates: monthly portfolio tracking mechanism and report back to China marketing leader

The Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• 8+ years of local country marketing experience
• Excellence in marketing disciplines (price, portfolio, end-user, channel, communication, marketing tools in China)
• Demonstrated communication skills to collaborate with sales, channel teams (internal) and channel partners, customers (external) and joint calls with sales teams drive strategic negotiations with sales team, channel partners & customers
• Ability to interpret global portfolio strategy & localize global strategy into China adapted tactics
• Excellence in strategic thinking, problem-solving, analytical ability, and cross-functional collaboration
• Ideally also have experience in project management for time management and prioritization
• Demonstrated ability to inspire and engage the team
• Fluent English and Microsoft office skills
