Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Assist engineers in developing and optimizing new processes and fixtures; prepare samples, set up equipment and parameters, execute DOE tasks, collect data, and provide feedback for improvement.
- Help troubleshoot process-related issues directly on the production line; perform first-level diagnostics, implement containment/corrections, and escalate for engineering support when needed.
- Offer on-line support during production trial runs and ramp-up; monitor key parameters and quality, record results, and perform adjustments per engineering instructions to ensure stable operations.
- Lead calibration of key tools, gauges, and fixtures; maintain calibration schedules, records, and traceability; ensure compliance with applicable standards.
- Manage ePR activities: issue logging, follow-up actions, closure, and documentation accuracy.
- Develop and maintain work instructions, SOPs, changeover/checklists; conduct on-site safety analyses (e.g., JSA/JHA) and ensure adherence to EHS requirements.
- Provide hands-on training to operators on-site; support skill certification, reinforce standard work and 5S, and drive safe, efficient execution.
- Maintain fixtures, jigs, and tooling; coordinate repairs and spares, ensuring readiness and availability for production.
- Support Lean and Kaizen activities; identify waste, propose improvements, and assist Six Sigma/PPU projects with data collection and basic SPC/charting.
- Execute tasks in compliance with applicable Solventum and regulatory standards and internal specifications; support audits and documentation control.
