About the Job:
Position: Senior Total Rewards Consultant (Per Diem)
Department: Human Resources
Reports To: Executive Director, Total Rewards & Talent Systems
This role supports compensation strategy, compliance, and implementation across the organization. It requires a seasoned professional with 12+ years of experience in Total Rewards, with a strong focus on compensation and healthcare industry practices.
What You’ll Do:
Lead and execute compensation projects including market analysis, pay structure design, and salary benchmarking.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to compensation programs.
Manage system implementations and enhancements for compensation tools and processes.
Develop and deliver training programs for HR teams and business leaders on compensation policies and practices.
Build and maintain financial models to support compensation planning, forecasting, and scenario analysis.
Partner with senior leadership to align compensation strategies with organizational objectives.
Who You Are / Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred).
Experience: 12+ years of progressive compensation or total rewards experience, preferably in healthcare.
Preferred Certifications: CCP, SHRM-SCP, or related designations.
Skills & Knowledge:
Strategic advisor and SME in compensation.
Strong knowledge of compliance requirements and regulatory frameworks.
Expertise in HRIS systems (Workday, UKG, PayScale/PayFactors).
Exceptional modeling, forecasting, and reporting skills.
Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
