About the Job:
As a Patient Registration Specialist, you’ll be the first point of contact for patients arriving via ambulance, walk-in, or scheduled visits. You’ll manage EPIC tracking boards, perform bedside registration, gather demographic and insurance information, and ensure all necessary documentation and copays are collected. You’ll play a vital role in maintaining compliance and delivering exceptional service across various hospital departments.
What You’ll Do:
Monitor EPIC tracking boards for admissions and registration needs
Register Direct Admit, Labor & Delivery, and Behavioral Health Unit patients
Perform bedside registration and collect copays
Confirm patient demographics and insurance details
Collect IMM and MOON signatures for Medicare patients
Ensure compliance with hospital policies and DNV/Corporate standards
Use translation tools for non-English or hearing-impaired patients
Provide financial information including Charity Care and Self-pay options
Operate and manage telephone systems
Attend training sessions for insurance updates
Assist patients across hospital departments

Able to handle sensitive financial and insurance information with discretion
