We are looking for a Senior Solution Developer with strong Mainframe and COBOL expertise to join our modernization team focused on customer data management. You will be part of a cross-functional product team, collaborating with developers, architects, scrum masters, and product owners, all with the shared goal of delivering high-quality solutions to end-users.

This is a hands-on role where you will contribute to maintaining and modernizing core mainframe systems, ensuring reliability, efficiency, and alignment with business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain COBOL applications on mainframe platforms.

• Work closely with architects, product owners, and other developers to implement solutions that meet business requirements.

• Participate in modernization initiatives, including data management and process improvements.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in production and development environments.

• Ensure adherence to coding standards, quality practices, and security guidelines.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and systems within the team.

• 9+ years of experience in Mainframe development with strong COBOL expertise.

• Solid understanding of core banking or financial systems is a plus.

• Experience in modernization initiatives or large-scale data management projects is advantageous.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Excellent English communication skills; Swedish is a plus.

• Ability to work in a cross-functional, collaborative environment.
