We are looking for a Senior Solution Developer with strong Mainframe and COBOL expertise to join our modernization team focused on customer data management. You will be part of a cross-functional product team, collaborating with developers, architects, scrum masters, and product owners, all with the shared goal of delivering high-quality solutions to end-users.
This is a hands-on role where you will contribute to maintaining and modernizing core mainframe systems, ensuring reliability, efficiency, and alignment with business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain COBOL applications on mainframe platforms.
Work closely with architects, product owners, and other developers to implement solutions that meet business requirements.
Participate in modernization initiatives, including data management and process improvements.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in production and development environments.
Ensure adherence to coding standards, quality practices, and security guidelines.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and systems within the team.
Solid understanding of core banking or financial systems is a plus.
Experience in modernization initiatives or large-scale data management projects is advantageous.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent English communication skills; Swedish is a plus.
Ability to work in a cross-functional, collaborative environment.
