Project Air Tester B
This position is accountable for the air testing of bases and performing final preparations to the base's prior
to transferring the base to the paint shop or shipping the base to the customer.
NATURE AND SCOPE:
Responsibilities include performing air testing to check for leaks, performing touch up painting to affected
areas, cleaning bases and preparing bases for shipment or transfer. Rigging, lifting and loading bases
utilizing overhead cranes.
Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
1. Comply with all of TurboFab’s Environmental, Health and Safety Programs, Regulations and
Guidelines.
2. Check own work for compliance to specifications.
3. Use all necessary equipment and tools required to perform work.
4. Ensure that procedures have been followed and quality has not been compromised.
5. Must keep all areas clean and orderly; and comply with TurboFab’s housekeeping procedures.
6. Must follow the Air Testing procedures.
7. Must test for leaks, clean the bases, do minor paint touch ups, prepare the bases for shipment or
transfer, rig, lift and load bases to trucks using overhead cranes, as required.
Required Qualifications:
· This position is for Air Testers and requires minimal to no supervision to perform the job.
· Must exhibit the skills and willingness to perform assigned tasks in a fully competent manner.
· Ability to read and write.
· Good verbal communication skills.
· Ability to work well with others.
· Ability to use tools required for the job.
· Skilled and trained on all facets of the air test and final preparation of base products.
· Skilled and certified on use of overhead crane.
· Skilled and certified on forklift.
· Ability to do stud welding.
· Ability to do high-level rigging.
· Ability to do grinding, drilling, tapping
· Ability to do layouts without supervision.
· Must have at least 1 year of experience as an Air Tester
Candidates may be placed on any shift, dependent on business needs
Summary Pay Range:
$15.66 - 23.50
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience.

There will be cross-training and qualifications-based opportunities to earn up to an additional $2 per hour, with any night shift activity qualifying for another $3 per hour.
