The EHS Manager performs assignments to assure a safe and healthy work environment and compliance with environmental goals addressing a variety of business topics that impact EHS issues.

What will be your tasks?

  • Maintain existing EHS processes and support the organization on new project/processes implementation.
  • Keep strong communication with employees and provide guidance on occupational safety topics.
  • Identify and assess potential risk in the whole Facility environment and propose improvements.
  • Maintain monthly standardized reports and KPI's such as leading indicators and incidents, and environmental results (air and noise measurement, waste etc.).
  • Support team with EHS Training.
  • Manage Task Risk Assessment (SFMEA) and create code of safe practices.
  • Implement internal audits and determine corrective actions.
  • Implement legislative and corporate requirements, monitor legislative changes.
  • Support with fire risk assessments and safety standards.
  • Support Job categorization in accordance to Czech Standards.
  • EHS visualization (charts, safety labels).
  • Perform additional job responsibilities specified by the employer.

What do we expect from a suitable candidate?

  • Bachelor's degree preferred in Safety-related or Engineering discipline or 5 years' experience in EHS.
  • Ability to mentor and lead small team of junior engineers
  • Knowledge of Czech health and safety legislation.
  • Knowledge of local OZO requirements and management
  • Ability to communicate fluently in Czech and English.
  • MS Office applications at proficiency level.
