Responsible for the design of turbine and driven equipment control system upgrades to existing fielded equipment for specific customer sales orders as part of a multi-disciplined project execution team.
Projects range from replacing the entire control system to modifying existing control systems to add or delete functionality based on customer requirements.
Initial focus on the manufacturing role to become acquainted with the PRU sales order project process and controls tools and then transition to include controls design responsibilities.
Deliverables - Bill of Material, Panel and Box Layout manufacturing drawings, Electrical schematic, Interconnect wiring schedule, Controller and display (HMI) software
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Electronic, Electric, Mechatronic, Electromechanics.
0-1 years of relevant experience
Fluent in English, both verbal and written
Working knowledge of PLC (programmable logic controller) software
Working knowledge of the basic theory of industrial control system applications, design, and operation
Preferred Qualifications:
Power Generation knowledge in industrial applications
Desired technical skills include programming of Rockwell Automation PLC 5 and ControlLogix 5000 processors
Ability to write and communicate ideas clearly
Ability to work well with others, team spirit, and flexibility with personal schedule to meet deadlines
A sense of urgency and organizational skills are also required to work with multiple projects and competing priorities.
