About the Role:

The Assembler will lay out, join, form, fasten, assemble, install and functionally check prefabricated sheet, tubular, machined, mechanical or formed parts and assemblies preparatory to, during and after welding, installation and during or after tool proofing. Load braze alloys; make and install core; and deburr such items as machined parts.

What You Will Do:

  • Work from written and verbal instructions to lay out, assemble and install prefabricated sheet, tubular, machined, mechanical, and formed parts to build up subassemblies and assemblies

  • Prepare mixtures of braze alloys and adhesives and apply to various assemblies prior to furnace brazing. Prepare and apply proper stop off

  • Hand finish machined and other parts and assemblies to close tolerances, involving varied contours, holes, radii, angles and flanges using pneumatic pencil, bench and angle grinders

  • Prepare surfaces of parts and assemblies prior to assembly. Includes cleaning, sanding, and masking

  • Affix inserts and covers to segments by poke tacking, perform airflow testing of segments

  • Identify materials, parts and assemblies as required

  • Shipping and receiving of components to and from our customers and suppliers

What You Have:

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent

  • Willing to work any shift

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience using hand tools and/or power tools

Summary Pay Range:

$20.00 – $29.22
