The Role...


The Revenue Manager is responsible for leading the hotels’ revenue strategies with a forward-thinking and analytical approach. The role focuses on maximising revenue across all segments by combining data-driven insight with an innovative mindset. This includes shaping pricing strategies, optimising inventory, and ensuring that the hotel remains competitive in both current and future market conditions.


A core part of the role is to anticipate trends, identify emerging opportunities, and respond quickly to potential risks. The Revenue Manager acts as a central decision maker, guiding the hotel toward strong commercial performance by collaborating closely with key stakeholders and aligning revenue strategies with the broader business plan. 


Ultimately, this position exists to deliver consistent, sustainable growth while continually challenging existing practices. The goal is not only to meet targets but to elevate performance through fresh ideas, strategic thinking, and a strong commitment to commercial excellence


Role Responsibilities...



  • Lead the development and execution of pricing strategies that support revenue growth across all business segments.

  • Monitor market trends, competitive behaviour, and hotel performance to identify opportunities and respond proactively to risks.

  • Oversee daily, weekly, and monthly revenue reporting to ensure visibility of performance and alignment with targets.

  • Manage inventory and distribution channels to optimise availability, rate positioning, and overall commercial results

  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations to align strategies, support demand generation, and ensure accurate communication of commercial priorities.

  • Maintain up-to-date forecasts that reflect current trading patterns and upcoming demand drivers, ensuring they are understood by key stakeholders.

  • Lead weekly revenue meetings and guide and influence departmental leaders through clear analysis, structured recommendations, and commercially focused insights.

  • Ensure the hotel remains competitive within its defined comp set by tracking and interpreting market indexes, including ARI, MPI, and RGI.

  • Champion innovation within the revenue function by testing new ideas, reviewing existing practices, and seeking continuous improvement in all revenue processes.
