Utilize the Electronic Medical Records (EMR). Assist/Educate physician and staff on how to enter and retrieve information. Establish procedures for referrals to other providers. Develop/Implement short and long-term work plans and objectives. Interview, hire, train, supervise, evaluate, and develop assigned staff. Coordinate with HR and payroll about any individual or group data changes. Review and approve or deny payroll and leave requests. Maintain daily clinic activities: manage scheduling, obtaining patient demographics and insurance information, pre-certification with insurance carriers, patient education, case management, accounts receivable, claims, resolution, and problem accounts. Manage expenses to operating budget.
