Sodexo is currently seeking a Food Service Manager 2 to join our team at the US Marine Corps Mess Hall RR135 at Camp Lejeune, NC.  RR135 serves approximately 4000-5000 service members, which includes box meals.  This location offers a rotating variety menu that includes fast food.  This dining facility operates 7 days a week, 365 days a year.  Work schedule includes a 3-day weekend every other weekend.  Operations cease at 1800 hours with departure from the building between 1915 and 1930 hours.

• Maintains food quality, assisting in the maintenance of cash control and point-of-sale system records
• Assists in the support of the financial and HR functions

What You Bring

• has a work history demonstrating strong leadership skills, as well as previous supervisory experience and the ability to work collaboratively;
• has culinary production experience and a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance;
• has the ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service;
• can demonstrate the ability to prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed; and
• is experienced with menu planning & forecasting processes, and understanding of safe food handling practices, qualities, and standards (e.g. HACCP forms, temperature logs, safety audits, inventory management, etc.)
