About this role

Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking a Director of Sales Operations to lead the strategy, development, deployment, and lifecycle management of offers across the organization—with a primary focus, 80%, on accelerating the growth and performance of Sodexo’s InReach Convenience Services business (vending, micro markets, office coffee, and pantry programs) with the other 20% in supporting the commercial brands of Sodexo.

This leader ensures that offers—from initial concept to full-scale rollout—are commercially viable, operationally executable, client-centric, financially sound, and positioned for scalable growth.

A major priority of this role is to build field adoption, strengthen our internal cross-selling engine, support strategy for large national deals, expand strategic sales partnerships, and lead the creation of financial deal structures that support both new business and retention.

The Director will collaborate cross-functionally with Business Development, Operations, Marketing, Finance, Technology, and Client teams to ensure all offers are market-ready and consistently executed across regions.

What You'll Do

Field Enablement & Adoption

  • Develop and execute enablement plans to grow InReach through vending, micro markets, office coffee, and pantry services.
  • Support the strategy and readiness required to win large InReach deals, including offer positioning, value engineering, pricing frameworks, and competitive storytelling.
  • Create and guide financial deal structures for strategic new business and retention—including revenue share models, reinvestment proposals, and pro forma guidance.
  • Deliver collateral for every stage of the sales funnel—awareness, consideration, proposal—using branded templates, differentiators, and activation materials.
  • Build tools, calculators, playbooks, checklists, and FAQs to support activation across sales, solutioning, operations, and commercial finance.
  • Partner with Sales Leadership & Marketing to launch campaigns, promotions, and market outreach tied to InReach growth strategies.
  • Grow and support strategic sales partnerships to enhance differentiation, unlock co-marketing opportunities, and support national scalability.

InReach Cross-Sell Leadership

  • Own and lead the cross-sell process between InReach and internal Sodexo segments (Corporate Services, Healthcare, Campus, Education, and others).
  • Build the workflows, communication paths, and enablement materials that ensure every eligible client is evaluated for InReach opportunities.
  • Equip segment sellers with turnkey content, playbooks, and client-ready narratives tailored to each vertical.
  • Partner closely with Sales Ops, Account Management, and Finance to ensure accurate opportunity routing, visibility, and attainment alignment.
  • Track cross-sell performance and provide insights to leadership on trends, pipeline influence, and incremental growth

Cross-Functional Leadership & Governance

  • Partner with marketing, sales, finance, operations, product, and legal teams to build market-ready, operationally feasible, and financially aligned solutions.
  • Work closely with Finance to develop sustainable deal structures, ROI models, and strategies that support long-term client retention and profitable growth.
  • Represent offer activation strategy in executive forums, providing insights, recommendations, and decision support.
  • Serve as the organizational connector between InReach, onsite segments, and enterprise functions.

Brand Commercialization Support

  • Support the commercialization and execution of Sodexo’s branded concepts by translating brand strategy into operational guidance, activation plans, and field-ready resources.
  • Support the development and refinement of Sodexo’s brand frameworks, ensuring offers reflect clear brand identity, narrative, and positioning.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Offer Development to ensure brand standards, messaging, and visual elements are consistent across all materials.
  • Support pilot sites and early adopters in deploying branded experiences, gathering insights that inform refinement and scaling.
