STS Aerospace in Laconia, NH is searching for a Shipper to join our team. Under the general direction of the Shipping Supervisor, this position is responsible for the timely packing and shipping of manufactured pieces. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities.
Job Description
- Packages assemblies and inspect wrapping, parts, and containers for conformance to company standards, customer requirements, shipping companies, and postal regulations
- Weighs packages and determines postage and affixes postage stamps to packages
- Prepares product and packages for shipping in conformity with company, customer, and government regulations, both domestic and internationally
- Able to navigate and accurately enter data into various shipping websites for the generation of shipping labels for domestic and international shipments
- Able to navigate customer websites to provide up to date shipping data
- Verify and document all incoming material
- Must be able to stand/walk 8 hours per day
- Able to regularly lift 10lbs and occasionally up to 25lbs
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education, Certifications, Licenses, & Registrations
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
