Job Description

Key Activities:

1.Adhere to Smiths and John Crane business policies and values.

2.Adhere department process flow, constantly looking for areas of improved efficiency.

3.Achieve service operations KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)

4.Prioritize to support the day-to-day logistic operation by ensuring shipments are executed on timely manner including accurate documentation and system updates.

5.Responsibility for management of delivery service provider comprising of HSE, inventory quality and supplier quality.

6.Resolved logistics and customs clearance issues by collaborating with international forwarders and internal team. Working for trading compliance process to be ensure import/export declaration and confirmation with freight brokerage from end to end.

7.Respond to logistics-related question from internal teams (e.g. customer service, sales).

8.Follow special shipping or invoicing instructions as needed. Assist in collecting data for cost tracking and operational reports.

9.Managing any escalation arise due to delay in delivery from freight brokerage to operation manager or the relevant function.

10. Assisting carrier/freight brokerage for any challenges at delivery location.

11. Be involved in the implementation/maintaining of ISO9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 Management Systems.

12. Build and maintaining teamwork with internal stakeholders.

13. Working & coordination for indirect purchasing fulfill local requisition and global process

14. Perform other duties as assigned.

Key accountabilities:

Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow.

Ensure all shipments processed always comply with regulations & trading compliance. This includes policies, procedures, standard operation practice and external government regulations or customer policies/ requirements.

Responsibiities:

•Import/export declaration and confirmation with freight brokerage from end to end.

•Loading & Shipping for import/export

•SAP Process

Qualifications

Experience

•Previous experience including at least 3 years of related custom import/export or related in industry experience over 5 years of proven experience in purchasing from the domestic suppliers and overseas suppliers.

Technical Skills

•University/College degree in logistic management/industrial engineering/ business management/Commerce and trade or related fields

•Knowledge of logistic, inventory management, supplier management,

•Knowledge & experience in SAP is preferable

 People Skills

•Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external  stakeholders.

•Collaborate with internal and external  stakeholders.
