The Role

Our high-performing New South Wales environmental team is growing with a wide range of interesting projects and sustainable design. We are a large multidisciplinary company with iconic projects across renewables, environmental studies, dams & hydropower, solar, energy transition, transport and health. 

We are seeking a recent Graduate Environmental Scientist/Engineer for immediate start with an interest in Contaminated Land to join our Sydney team.   

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Fieldwork including collecting soil, water and ground gas samples from sites across Sydney and regional NSW
  • Preparing contaminated land assessments including data management and reporting
  • Supporting a variety of multi-disciplinary projects and opportunities
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders

The role will also present opportunities to support our other environment and waste teams, including landfill investigations and hydrogeological assessments.

Suitable applicants will have/be:

  • Tertiary education in Environmental Science, engineering, geology or hydrogeology
  • Early career experience working with contaminated land and Hazardous Materials (highly regarded)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary environment
  • Willingness to work away from home for short periods for field assessments
  • A current NSW driver’s license and capacity to work outdoors.
