In this role, you will help define Smartsheet's strategy for customer excellence through insights produced with data analysis. You will work directly with senior leadership to inform strategic decision-making as part of a collaborative, motivated team. Your analysis and recommendations will directly impact our approach toward customer health and retention.</p> <p>Our ideal candidate is curious and displays an ability to translate business questions into analysis, reports, and recommendations. To be successful in this role, you are able to communicate to a diverse audience of internal stakeholders. You should have strong technical acumen with data analytics tools and languages, the ability to identify areas of opportunity within the business, and build innovative solutions.</p> <p>You will report to our Manager, Revenue Operation Analytics.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>You Will:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Help to create, evolve, and maintain the reporting infrastructure for the Customer Excellence organization</li> <li>Act as a business partner to Customer Excellence leaders to understand and identify essential business questions and challenges</li> <li>Lead projects to develop answers and solutions to those questions and challenges as well as developing KPIs to track results&nbsp;</li> <li>Partner with engineering, data science, and other analytics teams to build scalable analytics solutions</li> <li>Present insights to executives that will drive performance improvements and establish scalable process enhancements across the organization</li> <li>Mine large datasets, draw relevant insights and create visualizations to summarize findings</li> <li>Analyze and monitor data for anomalies (recognizing trends and data quality)</li> <li>Guide commission and territory planning processes with analytical support</li> <li>Be a mentor and leader to the more junior analysts on the team</li> </ul> <p><strong>You Have:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g. engineering, sciences, math, statistics, business, or economics)</li> <li>5+ years of experience in an analytics role with increasing responsibility</li> <li>Experience in Cloud and SaaS go-to-market (GTM)</li> <li>Expertise in SQL and preparing data for analysis, modeling, and visualization</li> <li>Experience working with a business intelligence tool like Looker, Tableau, PowerBI, etc.</li> <li>Experience with statistics (time series analysis, cluster analysis, multivariate analysis)</li> <li>Experience publishing and presenting data and findings to non-data users</li> </ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><p><strong>Current US Perks &amp; Benefits:</strong></p> <ul> <li>HSA, 100% employer-paid premiums, or Buy-up medical/vision and dental coverage options for full-time employees</li> <li>401k Match to help you save for your future (50% of your contribution up to the first 6% of your eligible pay)</li> <li>Monthly stipend to support your work and productivity</li> <li>Flexible Time Away Program, plus Sick Time Off</li> <li>US employees are automatically covered under Smartsheet-sponsored life insurance, short-term, and long-term disability plans</li> <li>US employees receive 12 paid holidays per year</li> <li>Up to 24 weeks of Parental Leave</li> <li>Personal paid Volunteer Day to support our community</li> <li>Opportunities for professional growth and development including access to Udemy online courses</li> <li>Company Funded Perks, including a counseling membership, local retail discounts, and your own personal Smartsheet account</li> <li>Teleworking options from any registered location in the U.S. (role specific)</li> </ul> <p><em>Smartsheet provides a competitive base salary range for roles that may be hired in different geographic areas we are licensed to operate our business from.
