That’s where you come in.</p> <p><strong>The Challenge to Solve</strong></p> <p>Enable senior leaders to scale high-performing, inclusive organizations by aligning people strategy with business priorities across a rapidly growing company.</p> <p><strong>The Role</strong></p> <p>The People Business Partner works closely with leaders across Slice, serving as a trusted advisor and coach to regional and functional leadership teams and C-suite executives.</p> <p>In this role, you’ll help leaders navigate the people challenges that come with growth, from performance management and employee relations to organizational change and team development. You’ll partner with leaders to translate business priorities into practical people actions that strengthen performance, engagement, and organizational health.</p> <p>You’ll collaborate closely with partners across People Operations, Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Finance, and Legal to design and deliver people programs that are fair, consistent, and scalable. As part of the People Business Partner team, you’ll be embedded with the teams you support, acting as a connector across functions and contributing to a People team known for thoughtful, pragmatic partnership and strong business impact.</p> <p><strong>Key focus areas include:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Partnering with leaders across G&amp;A and Operations on organizational effectiveness, leadership capability, and team health.</li> <li>Coaching managers through performance management, feedback, employee relations, and complex people decisions.</li> <li>Supporting organizational change, including team growth, evolving structures, and leadership transitions.</li> <li>Translating business goals into people priorities and partnering cross-functionally to deliver effective people programs.</li> <li>Guiding organizational design and talent planning: Assess team structure, leveling, talent gaps, and succession needs, and provide thoughtful recommendations that help teams scale.</li> <li>Using people data, feedback, and insights to inform recommendations and improve people processes.</li> </ul> <p><strong>The Team</strong></p> <p>The People team at Slice is high-performing and mission-driven.&nbsp; You will report to the VP, People Business Partners.</p> <p><strong>The Winning Recipe&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>5+ years of experience as a People Business Partner in a fast-paced or scaling environment.</li> <li>Experience supporting leaders across multiple functions (e.g., G&amp;A, Operations, or GTM).</li> <li>Strong fundamentals across core PBP areas, including performance management, employee relations, talent development, and organizational effectiveness.</li> <li>Proven ability to build trust with leaders and serve as a thoughtful coach and advisor.</li> <li>Comfort supporting teams through change and navigating ambiguity with sound judgment.</li> <li>Clear, empathetic communicator who can handle sensitive conversations with professionalism and care.</li> <li>Practical, hands-on approach with the ability to balance immediate needs with longer-term initiatives.</li> <li>Strength in organizational design and talent planning: Comfort guiding leaders through org structure, workforce planning, succession planning, and talent gap analysis.</li> <li>Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to design, lead, and execute initiatives from planning through implementation.</li> <li>Experience leading core People cycles: Ownership of performance, compensation, promotion, and talent review processes.</li> <li>Data-informed mindset, using insights and feedback to support people decisions.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Nice to Have</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience supporting Operations or hourly populations.</li> <li>Exposure to global teams or interest in working in a global environment.</li> <li>Curiosity about AI and new tools that improve productivity and people processes.</li> </ul> <p><strong>The Extras</strong></p> <p>Working at Slice comes with a comprehensive set of benefits, but here are some of the unexpected highlights.</p> <ul> <li>Flexible PTO</li> <li>Market leading medical, vision and dental insurance</li> <li>401K matching up to 4% in the US</li> <li>Personal development &amp; wellness reimbursement/stipend</li> <li>Weekly pizza stipend in the US (Yes, that’s a thing!)</li> </ul> <p>US Hire Salary Range: $110-130k USD + equity (stock options)&nbsp;</p> <p>Pizza brings people together.
