Finance and Accounting Associate (Fresh Graduate)

• Execute daily financial transactions including recording income and expenses, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations
• Perform monthly financial activities such as journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records

• Conduct monthly analysis and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement, providing insights to management as necessary
• Prepare detailed reports summarizing financial activities and findings for review by senior management

• Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment approvals, and collections, ensuring timely and accurate payments and receipts
• Work closely with vendors and clients to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to billing or payments

• Support general accounting functions such as preparing financial statements, tax filings, and audit documentation as needed
• Assist with the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and compliance

• Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards, staying updated on changes in accounting principles and reporting requirements
• Assist in the preparation of regulatory filings and audits, providing necessary documentation and support as requested

• Be knowledgeable on market developments and opportunities around the advertising, digital, creative, technology, marketing, and consulting industries
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to creative operations and project management
• Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge in operational processes and tools
• Collaborate with team members to share insights and best practices for continuous improvement

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Previous experience in financial accounting is preferred, but fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite products, especially Google Sheets, Google Docs, and Google Slides.
• Familiarity with Quickbooks or any other accounting software.
• Exceptional interpersonal and public relations skills.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.
• Must have a keen eye to detail.
• Commitment to meeting deadlines and delivering work on schedule.
• Openness and responsiveness to constructive feedback.
• Collaborative mindset with a proactive approach and being initiative.
• Can work onsite in Mandaluyong when needed.
