Skyline Education Preschool is seeking a Part-Time Lead Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood education team. This position offers potential for additional hours based on experience and program needs.

Job Details

• Schedule: 7:30 AM – 2:00 PM-potential for more hours
• Job Type: Part-Time
• Pay: Dependent on experience and education

Qualifications (Preferred)

• Early Childhood Education (ECE) credits or an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education
• Experience working with preschool or Pre-K aged children
• Strong classroom management, organization, and communication skills
• Passion for early childhood education and child development
• Spanish speaking a plus

Required Certifications & Clearances

• Current CPR and First Aid Certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card (or ability to obtain upon hire)
• Completion of required Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) and DES training (to obtain upon hiring)
  

Daily Responsibilities

• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate Pre-K lessons and activities
• Maintain a safe, structured, and nurturing classroom environment
• Supervise children at all times and follow all health and safety procedures
• Lead daily classroom routines, including circle time, learning centers, meals, and transitions
• Collaborate with assistant teachers and the Director
• Maintain classroom organization, cleanliness, and required documentation
• Communicate professionally with families during drop-off and pick-up
• Ensure compliance with state licensing regulations and school policies

Curriculum & Assessment

• Implement a developmentally appropriate, play-based Preschool curriculum (Frogstreet) aligned with early learning standards
• Use ongoing observation and assessment tools to monitor children’s progress and developmental milestones
• Document learning through assessments, anecdotal notes, and portfolios as required
• Use assessment data to guide lesson planning and support individual learning needs
• Partner with families to share developmental progress and classroom learning goals
• Manage Procare App, which allows for parent communication throughout the school day
