Manufacturing Support Technician Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment, following technical manuals and schematics
  • Diagnose issues by observing machine operation, listening for abnormal sounds, and using testing tools to identify root causes
  • Dismantle devices to access and replace defective parts, inspecting components for wear, and ensuring proper dimensional specifications
  • Adjust, repair, or replace mechanical and control parts to restore optimal device performance
  • Install and set up structural and functional components, lubricate and clean parts, and conduct testing to verify repairs
  • Operate metalworking tools such as drill presses and grinders to fabricate or repair parts as needed
  • Monitor equipment operation, troubleshoot malfunctions, and perform emergency repairs to minimize downtime
  • Maintain a clean, organized work environment and accurately document maintenance activities, parts used, and repairs performed
  • Assist with installation, setup, and calibration of systems and equipment
  • Perform routine inspections, adjustments, and calibrations to ensure machinery operates within specifications

Manufacturing Support Technician Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, installation, or related roles.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and electronic systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and OEM manuals.
  • Your own reliable transportation
  • Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
