Your focus will be on creating intuitive, performant, and extensible UIs that bring these AI capabilities to life.</p> <p>This is a front-end–heavy, full-stack role: you’ll architect core SDKs and reusable components, define contracts with backend and AI services, and prototype next-generation experiences that help radiologists work faster and smarter.</p> <p>You’ll collaborate closely with designers, backend engineers, and AI researchers to explore what’s possible and help bring the most impactful ideas into production.&nbsp;</p> <p>Sirona Medical is a remote first company but this role will be required to travel to our San Francisco office on average of 3-4 days every other quarter.&nbsp;</p> <h3><strong>Why Join Us?</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Make real impact – Your work directly shapes how physicians interact with AI, improving clinical speed and outcomes</li> <li>Prototype fast, build smart – Explore, validate, and scale what truly matters to users</li> <li>Collaborate deeply – Work alongside AI researchers, product designers, and radiologists<br>Shape the future of care – Define how intelligent systems show up in clinical workflows</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Design and implement modern, scalable front-end systems in React, TypeScript, and GraphQL</li> <li>Build SDKs and reusable component libraries that bridge AI systems and product surfaces</li> <li>Prototype intelligent, data-rich workflows that blend human interaction with AI assistance</li> <li>Work across the stack to connect frontend features to Python/FastAPI backends and APIs</li> <li>Collaborate with AI and backend teams to design clean interfaces between systems</li> <li>Create UI patterns that visualize AI reasoning, feedback, and real-time collaboration</li> <li>Shape engineering best practices for modularity, observability, and performance</li> <li>Mentor other engineers and influence technical direction across Sirona’s product stack</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Key Qualifications:</strong></h3> <ul> <li>8+ years of professional software engineering experience, with deep front-end expertise and full-stack fluency</li> <li>Expertise in React, TypeScript, and GraphQL, with a strong grasp of front-end architecture, state management, and performance optimization</li> <li>Experience building and maintaining internal SDKs, reusable component libraries, or system abstractions that connect front-end and backend or AI services</li> <li>Fluency with API design and integration, including REST and GraphQL APIs, and working knowledge of backend frameworks such as Python/FastAPI</li> <li>Proven experience building or integrating AI-powered product experiences — whether through traditional ML models or newer technologies such as LLMs and agentic workflows</li> <li>Experience designing interfaces that make AI outputs actionable, explainable, and trustworthy</li> <li>Strong product intuition and UX sensitivity. You build tools that feel elegant, fast, and obvious to users</li> <li>Experience working in cross-functional environments with designers, backend engineers, and AI researchers</li> <li>Comfortable moving between prototype and production. You can experiment quickly but know how to ship reliable, maintainable code</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Pay scale is flexible depending on experience. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, competencies, experience, relevant education and training.
