How you’ll make an impact:
We are looking for a curious, flexible, and enthusiastic intern to join SiriusXM Media’s Sales Research Consumer Insights team, where you will have the opportunity to learn from experienced researchers while contributing to in-depth custom research projects. We are looking for someone who is passionate about content like music and podcasts, and is interested in using insights to help drive marketing narratives and grow audio advertising revenue.
What you’ll do:
Under mentorship, assist with execution of quantitative research studies, including questionnaire design, programming, online survey testing (QA), data cleaning/coding/analysis, and reporting
With assistance, develop surveys, fieldwork reports, data analyses, and presentation decks to key stakeholders
Participate in ideation sessions for strategic initiatives and marketing implementations
Collaborate with cross functional groups including Marketing and Sales teams to identify key research questions and opportunities
Perform other duties as required
What you’ll need:
Internships are open to current students enrolled at a university (MBA students graduating by May 2027 are preferred) and recent graduates who graduated within the 12-month period prior to the start of the internship
Thorough knowledge of office productivity tools [MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides)]
Online survey programming software knowledge (Qualtrics, Survey Monkey, etc.) is a plus
Statistical software knowledge (SPSS, SAS, R, etc.) is a plus
Data visualization software knowledge (Tableau, Power BI, etc.) is a plus
Experience with automation and/or AI tools such as chatGPT, Gemini is a plus
Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team environment, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and work under shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
At SiriusXM, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be $18/hr and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
