Purpose
- The Senior Construction Engineer is responsible for coordinating all construction activities in project / onsite , facilitating effective communucation between various stakeholders, ensuring they are carried out in compliance with the project HSSE, Quality and schedule requirements.
- You oversee and coordinate all technical and administrative construction activities, ensuring the project objectives are met efficiently and within budget and schedule.
Responsibilities
- Your responsibilities include conducting the constructability review and provide input to Engineering.
- You conduct and oversee advanced technical evaluations, risk assessments, and feasibility studies to guide project decision-making.
- You provide guidance and advanced technical expertise on construction techniques to the project / site team, ensuring best practices are followed.
- You address operational challenges, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to improve construction performance and reduce non-productive time.
- You coordinate the interface and priorities between disciplines to solve construction issues, follow up on the construction status and progress to meet the schedule.
- You conduct and oversee advanced technical evaluations, risk assessments, and feasibility studies to guide project decision-making.
- You provide guidance and mentorship to the project construction team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
Education
- At least a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field with strong knowledge of construction principles and processess, and HSSE regulations
Experience
- At least 8 years extensive experience in construction with proven track record of successful project delivery in complex environments, combined with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
