Purpose

  • As Marine Team Lead you lead and coordinate marine operations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and optimizing vessel performance to support offshore activities. Your role is crucial in managing marine assets, ensuring safety, and driving operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • You oversee the daily operations of marine vessels, ensuring they meet safety, operational, and environmental standards.
  • You ensure timely maintenance and certification of vessels to ensure readiness and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • You collaborate with onshore and offshore teams to optimize vessel scheduling and minimize operational downtime.
  • You monitor marine contractor performance, ensuring alignment with project goals and budgets.
  • You foster a safety-first culture across all marine operations, promoting continuous improvement and risk mitigation.
  • You contribute to the development of marine strategies and policies, aligning with business objectives.
  • You manage stakeholder relationships, including contractors, regulatory authorities, and internal teams, to ensure smooth operations.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related field.

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in marine operations within the Oil & Gas industry, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices related to marine operations
  • Proven track record of success in managing marine operations in a fast-paced environment
