Purpose

  • The Contract Manager provides Contract Management support and execution for less complex projects or support Project or Senior CMs for Major projects or for the Group Contract Management department.

Responsibilities

  • You manage Main Contracts.
  • You manage and expedite contract deliverables and requirements.
  • You monitor performance and compliance with contractual requirements, expedite disciplines where necessary, and highlight potential areas of concern.
  • You ensure commercial and contractual awareness across the Project Team throughout the life of the project.
  • You achieve and maintain total auditability of all commercial and contractual dealings, including clear record-keeping and regular commercial reporting.
  • You provide Contract Feedback during the life of the project.
  • You ensure Guarantee period management.

Education

  • Degree or MBA in one of the following disciplines (Business Management, Law, Construction Law, Engineering or Quantity Surveying).

Experience

  • Experience in contract management including EPCI, subcontract management.
  • Broad experience in sales and lease contracts, in executing contract negotiation.
  • Experience of project execution interface.
