Purpose
- The job purpose of a Business Controller is to oversee and manage the financial planning, analysis, and reporting functions of an organization, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic alignment with business objectives. This role plays a crucial part in providing financial insights and guidance to senior management for informed decision-making and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- The Business Controller plays a key role in financial management and business analysis within the organization. This position involves overseeing financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and providing strategic insights to optimize financial performance. The Business Controller collaborates closely with various departments to ensure alignment with financial goals and regulatory compliance.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field. A master’s degree (e.g., MBA, MSc) and/or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is preferred.
Experience
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in financial management, business analysis, or a related role, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
