Simplot Devonport are seeking motivated applicants for opportunities within our Production department for our 2026 season. Simplot Devonport has a proud history in the local community, with the site opening in 1942 and employing thousands of Tasmanians. With the ability to process up to 28 tonnes per hour of fresh, locally grown Tasmanian vegetables destined for the frozen vegetable market - these opportunities will contribute to the intake, processing, packing, transport and storage of a number of crops incl; peas, beans, broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, onions and brussel sprouts.
Working 8 hour shifts across a 7 day roster (incl. day / afternoon / night shifts) with a focus on safety & quality within a modern, progressive facility - our new starter intake will continue throughout January / February 2026.
With base hourly rates of $41.89 p/h (incl. of 25% casual loading) + shift loadings and OT, these are great opportunities to commence your manufacturing career with a global leader in food production.
