Summary
This job is responsible for operating material handling equipment in a safe manner for the purpose of moving, locating, stacking and counting merchandise.
There are two plant facilities that make up the Moses Lake Production Campus. The selected candidate for this role will begin their training at one of these facilities and then will be assigned to one of the two locations after training is complete.
Key Responsibilities
- Operates a forklift to load, unload, high stack and stage either totes of frozen potatoes or pallets of cases
- Enters data and product locations accurately using a hand scanner
- Loads and unloads trailers on the dock
- Performs a pre-operation maintenance check on the forklift and reports any operating issues
- Charges forklift batteries
- Performs other duties as assigned
