Simon & Schuster is currently seeking a Voice Picker to join our Distribution Center in Jackson, TN. This position will pick orders to fill orders using voice picking equipment among other duties.
Duties:
- Pick orders to fill orders using voice picking equipment
- Follow simple voice commands to fill book orders
- Meet or exceed LM SOP quota
- Scan labels using finger scanner
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Ability to understand and follow simple commands
- Able to meet daily LM quota for picking
- Attention to detail
- Good listening skills
- Good math skills
- Ability to stand on feet all day
- Lift 40 lbs.
- Able to follow all Company policies and procedures
- Able to follow all safety standards
- Overtime as needed
Scheduled Work Hours: Monday - Friday - 7:30AM - 4:00PM

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
