Sime Darby Industrial Sdn Bhd1. This position is fully responsible for Caterpillar principal account, inventory, fixed assets and taxation function for the Microsoft AX Dynamic entities of SDISB in accordance with the established accounting standards and finance policies.
2. Ensure all active Caterpillar principal accounts are reconciled, reviewed and resolve reconciliation items.
3. To review all Caterpillar principal accounts outstanding aging and ensure payment made according to credit term agreed.
4. To review the service WIP accounts on monthly basis and perform the investigation on the variance of project costs.
5. Prepare monthly inventory report for business unit and management.
6. Work closely with business units to review and resolve purchase order and sales order issues arising.
7. Coordinate stock count with business unit and auditor.
8. Ensure Power BI Inventory dashboard figures no deviation as compared to AX figures
9. Managing and overseeing company's fixed assets, ensuring accurate recording and tracking of acquisitions, disposals, and depreciation. Maintaining fixed asset ledgers and performing regular reconciliations.
10. Review of tax provision and deferred tax performed of CAT entities
11. Prepare tax schedule and attend tax query for CAT entities.
12. Ensure principal vendor, inventory, taxation and fixed assets related Balance Sheet accounts of Microsoft AX Dynamic entities reconciled on a periodic and timely basis to verify that all items are correctly
13. To assist on accounting standard and policy compliance assessment
14. Monitor and ensure e-Invoice submissions on time and resolve validation or rejection issues
15. Attend financial audit and tax audit query related to Caterpillar principal vendor account, inventory, taxation and fixed assets
16. Ensure all applicable process alignment throughout all SDI Malaysia Region entities
17. To set up appropriate policies and internal control procedures in relation to the Inventory and fixed assets accounting.
18. Monitor and analyze the team’s work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracyWorking with own team and/or with other process teams to identify and implement improvement opportunities
20. Identify training needed for the team member to gain more knowledge
21. The job holder is not confined or exclusive to the above mentioned key responsibilities and may be required to perform other duties as and when required by the immediate superior and/or Management due to business expansion or requirements.
