We’re seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead our workshop operations, drive productivity, and ensure the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
The Role
Reporting to the General Manager, you’ll manage the day‑to‑day running of production, support and develop the Production Team, and ensure repairs are delivered efficiently and to approved BMW and Tesla standards.
Key Responsibilities
Lead daily production operations, workflow, and capacity planning
Manage and develop technicians and apprentices
Drive productivity using lean manufacturing principles
Maintain BMW & Tesla Approved Repair Procedures
Oversee quality control, rework management, and continuous improvement
Ensure WHS, EPA, and Sime Motors compliance at all times
Handle customer concerns promptly and professionally
Monitor budgets, reporting, and production performance
About You
Trade qualification within the automotive industry
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar production or leadership role
Strong knowledge of the smash repair industry
Proven leadership, organisational, and communication skills
Customer‑focused with a strong commitment to quality
