As our Operator and Equipment Excellence Trainer you will demonstrate best practice, safe and efficient operation of Caterpillar earthmoving equipment and associated technologies to internal and external customers.

Key responsibilities of this role are to:

• Deliver high-quality, hands-on, classroom and virtual training for customers and internal teams on Caterpillar equipment, technology, and earthmoving principles

• Develop and maintain engaging training materials and syllabuses

• Conduct equipment demonstrations at customer sites and events to showcase equipment features and customer benefits

• Support new machine deliveries with operator training and familiarisation

• Promote Terra Cat’s training offerings and value proposition to customers and business partners.

To ensure success in this role, we are seeking someone with:

• Extensive equipment, preferably Cat, operating experience

• An in depth understanding of machine control and guided survey equipment

• Previous training development and delivery experience, including content creation

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships

This role can be based in Auckland, Hamilton, Wellington, or Christchurch and will require regular away from home travel, including internationally.
