About the Role

Reporting to the Area Manager – Far North Queensland, this role is central to providing our customers the highest quality support and service. This position will see you will use your demonstrated skills to oversee a team of local parts/warehouse and a FIFO Service Technicians. You will reside locally and drive the values of Hastings Deering whilst continuously working towards developing and maintaining customer relationships. As a proven performer you will be joining an Operational Team in FNQ who each deliver in a remote and competitive market with its own geographic challenges. Your focus will be to deliver what is important to our people, our business and our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Know your Business Centre, its people and ensure service delivery is achieved across parts, service, and facilities

• Provide leadership visibility to build and maintain a high-performance culture

• Champion a ‘Care for All’ safety approach with a focus on continuous improvement and simplification

• Manage and drive financial performance and deliver operational outcomes

• Build strong internal and external relationships to support and enhance our reputation and customer experience

About You

You’re an experienced Supervisor and Lead ready for your next challenge and or diversify your experience.

You bring:

• Demonstrated experience in Parts or Service with lead and or Supervisor experience

• Demonstrated ability to understand the levers for financial and commercial decisions

• Considered and engaged decision-making capabilities

• Ability to lead through influence, coaching and mentoring

• A track record of developing and maintaining strong customer relationships
