About the role
Based in Palmerston North and reporting to the Regional Manager, you’ll run day‑to‑day operations across service and parts, ensuring high performance, strong safety standards, and outstanding customer service.
You’ll lead a team of 21 and play a key role in keeping the workshop humming.
You will:
• Lead, support, and develop the branch team
• Oversee workshop performance and customer relationships
• Drive efficiency, results, and a winning team culture
• Collaborate closely with regional and support leaders
What you bring:
• Leadership experience in automotive, transport, or similar industries
• Strong communication and team‑building capability
• Solid understanding of workshop or service operations
• A proactive, commercial mindset
• Confidence with financials — revenue, cost control, and profitability (PBIT)
