WHY THIS ROLES IS IMPORTANT TO US:

The IT Operation Specialist at SimCorp, will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of IT systems and services, ensuring their reliability, security, and performance. The IT Operation Specialist works closely with senior IT staff to resolve technical issues and improve the overall efficiency of IT operations.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

  • Monitor and maintain IT systems, ensuring they are running smoothly and securely
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to IT infrastructure and services
  • Support system maintenance tasks, such as updates, patches, backups, and performance checks
  • Document incidents, resolutions, and other operational activities to ensure accurate records and knowledge sharing
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration and performance of IT services across the organization
  • Assist in maintaining and improving IT service management processes to ensure efficient operations
  • Ensure that IT services meet defined service level agreements (SLAs) and operational performance goals
  • Help implement IT security measures and ensure compliance with internal security standards
  • Assist senior IT staff in the deployment and management of IT systems, hardware, and software
  • Provide basic support to end-users, troubleshooting common issues and escalating complex problems as needed

  • Supporting the daily operations and maintenance of IT systems and infrastructure
  • Assisting with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues to ensure continuous service delivery
  • Contributing to system monitoring, documentation, and IT service management improvements
  • Working with senior IT staff to learn and apply best practices in IT operations and service delivery

WHAT WE VALUE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • With at least 1-3 years of experience in IT operations, this role involves monitoring IT systems, troubleshooting issues, and assisting with maintenance tasks to ensure smooth and uninterrupted service delivery
  • Proficient in Windows Server/Linux OS environments, Active Directory, Intune, Certificate management, Automation & Scripting,
  • Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper‑V).
  • Understanding of networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VPN).
  • Direct experience with tools for monitoring and logging.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
  • Basic scripting ability for automation.

Other requirement

  • Amenable to work on EMEA time schedule
  • 2x RTO per week
