Looking to take your nursing career into the community? We’re seeking a Registered Nurse to join our South Clinical team on a Permanent Part Time (60 hours p/fortnight) basis, with flexibility to work up to 76 hours per fortnight. Shifts generally commence at 7.00am, with some flexibility in starting times.
This role gives you the chance to make a real impact—providing meaningful one‑on‑one care while out and about in the community. You’ll support clients across all age groups with acute and complex wound care, catheter management, and chronic disease support. If you’re passionate about delivering exceptional care and want the freedom and variety that community nursing offers, we’d love to hear from you.
You’ll be backed by our comprehensive onboarding and training program of up to 12 weeks, with dedicated mentoring and ongoing professional development to help you thrive in your role.
You will be an experienced, multi-skilled Registered Nurse. Using your exceptional clinical assessment, decision-making and problem-solving skills and abilities, you will provide an optimum standard of care to our clients, making a real contribution to their health outcomes.
Everyone at Silverchain, from our care teams to leadership, plays a vital role in delivering Best Care. It’s a team effort. Best Care is care that is safe, personal, connected and effective.
We are proudly one of the few Australian home care providers accredited in both national health and aged care standards. This means the quality of care we provide is expected to meet the same standards as a hospital or residential aged care facility.
As a not-for-profit organisation, we re-invest our funds into research and developing innovative models of care to set the industry benchmark for the provision of the best care in the home.
We'll also provide you with opportunities to help you develop and grow in your career, with training and education programs to help you achieve your goals.
