What we’re looking for

To be considered for this role, you will need the following:

  • Degree or postgraduate qualification in nursing.
  • 3+ years post-graduate, with broad experience in general/community nursing.
  • Current Registration with the AHPRA, with zero notations.
  • Genuine interest in working in the community and with the aged population (experience an advantage).
  • Compassion and enthusiasm, with a friendly approach.
  • Strong experience in wound and catheter care, and chronic disease management.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with families and other clinicians.
  • Australian driver's licence.

The role

  • Provide services such as complex wound care, catheters (IDC/SPC male and female), stoma and continence management, 3 days per week (Wednesday, Thursday and willing to work Friday), expected to travel from Far - Noarlunga/Hackham and up to the City and Western Suburbs.
  • Apply advanced clinical assessment skills for chronic disease management. 
  • Administer medications and injections. 
  • Perform an optimum standard of nursing care to our clients. 
  • Use your exceptional clinical assessment, decision-making and problem-solving skills and abilities to provide an optimum standard of care to our clients.
