About this role
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Performs welding, pipe fitting and sheet metal fabrication.
- Performs compressor rebuilding and hydraulic repair.
- Performs rigging and general equipment repair.
- Uses a variety of materials to make alterations, installations and repairs on all types of plant machinery and on all auxiliary equipment.
- Must work in a safe manner, insuring all guards and safety devices are in place after job completion.
- Must be able to read prints.
- Must be able to lift heavy objects.
- Must obtain a fork lift license.
- Must perform all other duties as assigned.
- May perform limited electrical troubleshooting, repair or installation within abilities.
